Registering your Distinctive Ringing Pattern
If you are not sure which ring pattern you have, call your telephone
company. Then assign that pattern in the steps below.

Set the machine to MANUAL mode.

The screen displays the current setting of this feature.

when the screen displays DISTINCTIVE:SET?

Press or to select the prestored ring pattern you want to assign and

. (You will hear each pattern as you scroll through the four
patterns. Be sure to choose the pattern assigned by the Telephone
Company.)

to exit.
Once you’ve registered the Distinctive Ringing pattern in your machine,
you can turn this feature on or off. To change the setting, follow steps 1
to 4 above, selecting ON (or OFF).
After you’re sure you’ve set up Distinctive Ring properly and it is
working, you can reconnect a TAD or have Voice Mail turned back on.
